TLC H&SC & TLC Law & Justice Forum
TLC H&SC Forum has met regularly since 2015 and you may find the statement below useful in promoting our objectives to others you may think are likeminded. Membership of the Forum is free to TLC members and is a substantial additional benefit for members sharing a common interest in Health and Social Care issues. TLC H&SC is now chaired by Professor Michael Brown DL. Michael is a Founder member of TLC and is now Chairman of Wirral community Health & Care NHS Foundation Trust. With TLC H&SC he chairs a truly inspiring forum drawn from a very distinguished membership and as such the Forum meets through specific projects and the general eclectic TLC programme of events.
In 2022 TLC Law & Justice Forum was founded under the Chairmanship of Professor Stephen Mayson. Stephen has been a distinguished member of TLC for many years and is Honorary Professor, Faculty of Laws, UCL. We are welcoming a number of eminent people who as members of TLC have not only an interest in Legal and Judicial matters but also serve in significant capacities within our precious judicial system. The Leaders Club Health and Social Care Forum (TLC H&SC)& TLC Law and Justice Forums
The Leaders Club was founded in 2008 with the aim and objective of bringing together an eclectic group of leaders on a regular basis through initially live meetings and latterly through Video Conferencing. The motto “Bringing Great Minds Together’ epitomises the Club. Drawn deliberately from the widest of fields to share knowledge, capability and experience TLC meets most weeks to examine areas of innovation, concern and challenge. The Chatham House Rule applies.Out of this, TLC Health and Social Care (H&SC) Forum was formed in 2015 to focus on key health and social care related issues and as such to become an influential sounding board and lobbying group. The membership of this Forum includes distinguished individuals drawn not only from the relevant fields but also members who have personal experiences that add significantly to the knowledge of the Forum.
TLC L&JF was formed in 2022 on a similar basis
The Leaders Club would be delighted to welcome new members not only to TLC but also to both Forums. TLC H&SC which meets monthly is chaired by Professor Michael Brown whilst TLC L&J is chaired by Professor Stephen Mayson and currently meets quarterly.
During 2022/3 there will be a series of events under the general title ‘WHO CARES?’ where we consider Social Care issues amongst others and the crucial underfunding that continues to exist. We would welcome your insight, thoughts and participation.
