Leaders, Pirates and Citizens

Maybe the pandemic and degrees of isolation have made us a bit more introspective or perhaps not thinking ‘outside the box’ as often as we might have done. In a recent newsletter I suggested that we should have presentations that challenge us to think differently and to ‘beg to differ’ from time to time.

In this event with Jon Alexander and Alex Barker we will have such an event – so prepare to be challenged.

Jon is Co-Founder of the New Citizenship Project, a strategy and innovation consultancy that aims to shift the dominant story of the individual society from Consumer to Citizen. His book ‘Citizens’ is published on 17th March. There is more about his impressive CV in this link https://www.jonalexander.net and by the way he has also represented Great Britain in both rowing and triathlon.

Alex Barker leads Be More Pirate; a consultancy and social movement which encourages people and organisations to challenge the status quo and ‘rewrite their rules’. She works across the private and public sector – from Salesforce to the NHS – supporting them with innovation, strategy, and culture change. She is a coach, facilitator and speaker, author of How to: be More Pirate and host of the Be More Pirate podcast.

So, roll up your sleeves “m’ hearties” and get ready to hoist the Jolly Roger. As always members attend free and non-members £30. Register via the link below.
