What Next for Leadership Training in Business?
Bob Judson & Susie Ballentyne
The world of work is evolving at an amazing rate! Societal expectations, the rapid developments in AI, and the increasing influence of hybrid working options are but three examples of the complex challenges that leaders in the workplace are having to tackle, but how well equipped are they to cope with all this change?
Join us as Bob Judson and Susie Ballentyne shed some additional light on this topic and provide some ideas, tips and techniques to help you and your work colleagues now and in the future.
Bob Judson is well known to all in The Leaders’ Club, as the Deputy CEO and the admin ringmaster of the Club’s weekly events. Following a 34½ year RAF career, he spent 3½ years as a director at Deloitte and, since 2019, Bob has run his own company that now exclusively focuses on leadership development, facilitation, keynote speaking and coaching. Since the middle of 2023, he has hosted a weekly and increasingly successful leadership focused podcast, Leading 4 Life “Stories”, building on the Leading 4 Life brand that he co-founded with Susie Ballentyne. A qualified coach and certified neuro-linguistic programming practitioner, Bob works extensively with corporate clients, including Deloitte University, where he is a member of the faculty delivering their Global Senior Manager and Global Director Milestones as well as their High Impact Leadership courses.
Susie Ballentyne is now a Consultant to Leading 4 Life, and has worked for over 20 years as an applied psychologist advising the UK government on the behavioural science of foreign policy and strategic communication, as well as specialising in inter-personal influence, organisational culture, and leadership. She has a particular focus on cognitive and identity-based approaches to interpersonal-development and managing change. Whilst living in Brazil from 2015-18, she undertook a PhD at Sussex University exploring the significance of social identity change among forced migrants. She holds an MSc (Dist) in Social Psychology from LSE as well as professional accreditation (certified by the British Psychological Society) to deliver a number of psychometric assessments which she uses to complement her approach to organisational change, one-to-one and team coaching.
